CMDF's portfolio reflects predominantly Canadian companies using advanced biotechnologies to develop products and services that fulfill unmet medical needs.

CMDF ranks as the fifth largest LSIF in Canada as of December 31, 2006.

The Fund has approximately $209.6 million under management as of August 31, 2006.

CMDF is qualified for sale in all provinces and territories of Canada and CMDF shares may be purchased only by residents of Canada.
